About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Program Officer (CPO) to lead the strategic vision, performance, and sustainability of its extensive portfolio of supportive housing and related programs. The CPO will be responsible for setting and executing the statewide program strategy, ensuring strong day-to-day performance, and aligning the Department's goals with the organization's mission. This executive leadership role requires a seasoned professional with at least 12 years' experience in human services, supportive housing, homelessness, healthcare, behavioral health, or related fields, and a proven track record of managing large, complex teams and portfolios. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of program development, innovation, and growth, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of the company's model and advancing its commitment to housing first, equity, and person-centered practices. Key responsibilities for the CPO include overseeing program quality, evaluation, and client participation, as well as financial sustainability and contract stewardship. The role demands a leader with strong financial acumen, the ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships, and a commitment to fostering a culture of belonging and inclusivity. The CPO will also be expected to champion the use of data, client voice, and evidence-informed practices to drive continuous improvement and to serve as a senior representative to external stakeholders, advocating for sustainable funding and contracting models.
