Procurement Specialist

We are working with a client in High Point searching for a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist. This will be a contract position paying $35-40/hr. This role will be fully onsite M-F 8-5. Prior procurement, sourcing, and experience working with supplier required for this role. Responsibilities: Source and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, performance, availability, cost, and lead time Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements with existing supplier Send RFQ's to multiple suppliers when supporting new customers and product lines Create new supplier agreements showing clear contract terms Manage and track supplier performance to ensure internal and customer needs are being met Identify areas for process improvement and cost reductions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration/Management, or similar required. Must have experience in procurement, sourcing and maintaining supplier relationships to be eligible for this role Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to analyze data Must be adaptable and able to juggle multiple projects Experience using ERP and advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables/Vlookups) #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
