Job Details Job ID: 5840547 Application Deadline: Posted until filled Posted: Jul 20, 2026 4:00 AM (UTC) Starting Date: Aug 26, 2026 Job Description This position is a Program Assistant – Recess Aide (Crossing Guard). 1 hour per day, 8:40–9:10 a.m. and 3:30–4:00 p.m. Qualifications High School Graduate Current CPR Certification or willing to obtain CPR certificate Evidence of skills with behavior management Demonstrates dependability and promptness Understanding, patient, warm and receptive attitude toward children Ability to assume responsibility for supervising students Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, parents and the general public with the understanding that confidentiality should be exhibited Ability to work outside during all seasons Ability to stand, bend, walk, etc. for 2+ consecutive hours Reports To Building Principal Who Are We? Cedar Springs Public Schools is a Preschool through 12th‑grade public school consisting of over 3,500 students and nearly 400 employees. We are located within the city limits of Cedar Springs, Michigan in Kent County. Cedar Springs Public Schools is one of 20 member public school districts within the Kent Intermediate School District (KISD).
