How you'll make an impact in this role

• Evaluated and treated patients with respiratory insufficiencies, developing plans of care based on specific diagnoses.
• Implemented patient care plans and managed advanced respiratory care modalities and equipment.
• Monitored, recorded, and communicated changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
• Assessed the effectiveness of respiratory practices, treatments, and medication administration based on patient outcomes.
• Educated patients and families on health conditions, community support groups, and responded to emergency resuscitation codes.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
