American Traveler seeks a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist for a weekend coverage assignment requiring 3+ years of recent full-time CVOR CST experience in a high-volume hospital setting. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR CST in a high-volume hospital setting Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment without extensive onboarding Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed BLS certification from AHA Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start (license required if applicable) US Social Security Number and US home address required Responsibilities Hospital CVOR service line providing surgical interventions for routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures Cardiac procedures include coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, ventricular assist device placement, impella or intra-aortic balloon pump placement, and adult ECMO TAVR procedures performed in the endovascular OR Thoracic cases include laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures Vascular procedures range from ESRD graft/fistula placement or revision to endovascular procedures Service line comprises 4-6 ORs depending on daily volume, including an endovascular suite, with capacity for four concurrent cardiopulmonary bypass procedures Weekend coverage schedule of 0645-1915 on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Call schedule participation not required, though optional participation is at the associate's discretion Candidates with less experience or requiring extensive onboarding will not be considered Radius rule applies at all Ascension facilities, allowing local candidates but at a reduced rate that varies by state Travelers should discuss extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date COVID vaccination is not required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-760073 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
