Role Description The Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Mesa, AZ. This role manages a portfolio of commercial clients, handling day‑to‑day service needs such as processing policy changes, issuing certificates of insurance, preparing quotes, and assisting with renewals. The Account Manager responds promptly to client inquiries, explains coverage options, and collaborates with carriers to resolve issues and secure competitive terms. Responsibilities include reviewing policies for accuracy, monitoring coverage deadlines, and maintaining detailed, up‑to‑date account records in agency systems. The role also supports producers with new business opportunities, identifies cross‑sell and upsell options, and helps ensure a smooth, professional experience for every commercial client. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines Coverage and the ability to explain policy terms, limits, and endorsements clearly to clients. Demonstrated Account Management skills, including managing a book of business, handling renewals, and maintaining accurate client records. Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on responsiveness, problem‑solving, and building long‑term client relationships. Experience in Insurance operations, including working with multiple carriers, rating systems, and policy documentation; familiarity with Employee Benefits is a plus. Relevant state Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe). Proficiency with agency management software and common office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
