The Co-Manufacturing Manager, Beverage will focus on Co-manufacturer relationship management, capacity & throughput matrices, & New Product Development (NPD) RFQ’s and negotiations. The Co-Manufacturing Manager, Beverage will work alongside all cross functional teams associated with the manufacturing of Nutrabolt and Bloom Nutrition’s beverage products, including but not limited to Purchasing, Planning, QA/QC, Legal, and Product Development. This role will continue to develop and foster relationships with our current and new manufacturing partnerships. This role will further assist in identifying potential new external partners and focus on continuous improvement throughout Nutrabolt and Bloom Nutrition’s Beverage Co-manufacturing global network.What You're Good At:Will have direct oversight of conversion costs including Labor, Overhead, Margins, Scrap, Re-work, & Changeovers / Spec Changes for assigned functional areasIdentify and capture cost-reduction and efficiency opportunities in a collaborate fashion.Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies in alignment with Nutrabolt’s Stage Gate process that fosters the highest level of commitment to continuous improvement in product quality, (total) cost, and deliveryEnsure expedient and compliant implementation of new contracts throughout organizationSupport Director of Beverage in evaluating new global manufacturer site economics & viability for strategic business needsCross functionally lead plant trials, first production runs and commercializationPartner with PD and Quality on process feasibility and line compatibilityEnsure smooth handoff from development to full-scale productionCoordinate with planning and logistics teams throughout the commercialization processEnsure raw materials, packaging, and capacity are aligned to planManage short-term disruptions and contingency planningActively represent sourcing on all NPD calls with Co-Mans, aligning with production allocation based upon TCO, capability, capacity, and other applicable criteriaTrack and validate Co-Man’s Take or Pay progress and incentives / rebatesManage the onboarding process for new Co-Man partners post successful Sourcing Operating vetting process and QA cGMP audits are complete and approvedWhat You Contribute:Degree(s) in Business Administration, Economics, Food Science, Package Engineering, or Supply Chain Management highly preferable.Has a minimum of 8+ years of industry experience in Co-Manufacturing, Sourcing & Procurement, and/or Operations Management.Has experience in multi-site global manufacturing managementDemonstrated ability in building relationships and vendor managementHas excellent written and verbal communication skillsHas superior attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skillsStrong skills with: Supplier management, negotiation, contract development/analysis, supplier evaluation, price/cost analysis, TCOIs independent and able to manage time efficiently and adjust to shifting priorities quicklyCan work well with a diverse group of people and be a strong and dependable team playerMust be able to work well under tight deadlinesSupplier visits and conference travel up to 25% or more as neededWhy Nutrabolt?Wellness BenefitsNutrabolt cares about our teammates’ physical, mental, and financial wellness by providing benefits like: competitive health insurance, life insurance, mental wellness programs, 401K matching, and a Lifestyle Spending Account.Lifestyle PerksWe offer unlimited vacation paid time off and volunteer time off.
