Travel Perfusionist - $4,800 per week

Prime Staffing is seeking a travel Perfusionist for a travel job in Overland Park, Kansas.

Position: Travel Perfusionist – OR
Location: Overland Park, KS
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Variable Shifts
Shift Timing: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Start Date: 06/08/2026
On-Call Requirement: Approximately 2 call days per week with shared weekly/weekend call coverage

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass equipment during cardiac surgeries
• Perform perfusion support for procedures including CABG, MVR, AVR, Aortic Dissections, TAVR, and ECMO initiation
• Monitor and maintain patient circulation and oxygenation during procedures
• Utilize Spectrum Quantum HLM, Centrifugal Pump Head, CATS Cell Saver, and Cardiohelp ECMO Pump
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff
• Maintain accurate documentation using Viper/Spectrum and Meditech systems
• Participate in on-call coverage for emergency cardiac procedures

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of CCP experience
• Experience with Spectrum Quantum pumps and Centrifugal pump head
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Willingness to take call responsibilities

Certifications & Licensure:

• ABCP / CCP Certification required
• Missouri Perfusionist License required
• BLS Certification required
