TRAVEL - PERFUSIONIST (895) - M-F - VARIABLE SHIFTS

Research Medical Center & Overland Park Regional Medical Center

Overland Park, KS 66211

MUST HAVE ABCP certification and a MO perfusionist license

Experience with Spectrum Quantum pumps and Centrifugal pump head (not roller head). 
Adults only, Avg pump time: 2 and a half hours. Minimal ECMO with Cardiohelp ECMO Pump.

Willing to take call. On average 2 days a week.

Volume: Around 500 hearts per year

Unit Specifics:

• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 7 FT, 2 PT Perfusionists. 2 assistants
• Type of equipment : Spectrum Quantum HLM, CATS Cell Saver, Cardioquip H/C, Cardiohelp
• Documentation system: Viper/Spectrum. Meditech
• Scheduling requirements:2 perfusionists on call daily
• On Call Requirements: Shared weekly/weekend call

Must have :
Must have experience with Spectrum HLM.
Minimum 5 years CCP experience.

Procedures performed on unit:   
CABG,MVR,AVR, Aortic Dissections, TAVR, ECMO initiation

Certifications Required:
CCP, Missouri Perfusion License
