About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, polished, and service-oriented Leasing Consultant to join the team at Vision on Lombard. This role is responsible for creating an exceptional first impression for prospective residents, driving leasing activity, and helping ensure every resident interaction reflects the elevated experience of the community.

The ideal candidate combines strong sales ability with genuine hospitality and thrives in a fast-paced, highly customer-focused environment.

Leasing & Sales

• Respond promptly to phone, internet, and walk-in inquiries and convert prospects into qualified tours and leases.
• Conduct engaging property and apartment tours that highlight Vision on Lombard's residences, amenities, location, and lifestyle.
• Build relationships with prospective residents, understand their needs, and confidently guide them through the leasing process.
• Consistently follow up with prospects and maintain accurate leasing activity and guest-card information in Yardi.
• Process applications, prepare lease documents, and coordinate move-ins accurately and efficiently.
• Support property marketing, outreach, resident referral initiatives, and other efforts designed to increase traffic and occupancy.
• Stay informed about competitor pricing, concessions, amenities, and market trends.

Resident Experience

• Provide warm, responsive, and professional service to current and prospective residents.
• Deliver a polished move-in experience and ensure apartments are fully prepared prior to resident arrival.
• Assist with lease renewals, resident communications, notices, and retention initiatives.
• Accurately document resident service requests and partner with the maintenance team to ensure timely follow-through.
• Help create resident events and experiences that build engagement and a strong sense of community.

Property & Team Support

• Walk the property daily and help ensure the leasing office, model apartments, vacant homes, amenities, and common areas consistently meet presentation standards.
• Partner closely with the Community Manager, Assistant Community Manager, and maintenance team on day-to-day property needs.
• Maintain accurate lease files, resident records, and other required documentation.
• Follow Fair Housing requirements, company policies, and all applicable operating procedures.
• Support the team wherever needed to ensure a seamless resident and prospect experience.

Qualifications

• One or more years of leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Multifamily or luxury residential leasing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong sales instincts and ability to build rapport and close effectively.
• Warm, polished, and professional communication style.
• Highly responsive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Experience with Yardi and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing requirements.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and other days/times based on leasing needs.
• We are looking for someone who takes pride in the details, enjoys connecting with people, and understands that great leasing is equal parts sales, service, and hospitality.

Compensation Range: $20-$22
