Travel RN - Operating Room - Day Shift

Location: Denver, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 7A - 7P

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of current acute care hospital experience and possess strong teamwork skills. As a traveling RN within the operating room, you will work closely with a diverse team to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing duties in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with the surgical team, including anesthesia providers and surgical technologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist in pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and maintain effective communication with patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification is required.
• Preferred: Experience in multiple service lines, particularly Transplant and Spine.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is highly preferred.
