- Review CNC programs to ensure accuracy, repeatability, quality, and compliance with internal standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, GD&T, and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, fixtures, programming, cycle times, dimensional accuracy, and part quality.
- Support tooling selection, fixture design, setup documentation, work holding strategies, and standard work.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Materials, and Operations to support production needs and resolve issues.
- Lead process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, increase throughput, and improve equipment utilization.
- Work with Quality to resolve nonconformances, deviations, inspection concerns, and process-related issues.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to machining defects, programming errors, or process failures.
- Ensure CNC programs, documentation, and machining processes comply with SOPs, cGMP requirements, quality procedures, and company policies.
- Support workload planning, prioritization, and resource allocation for CNC programming activities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to machinists, operators, programmers, and production teams.
- Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, revisions, tooling information, setup sheets, and related manufacturing documentation.
- Use data to identify trends, drive improvements, and improve machining performance.
- Support lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and EGX initiatives.
- Escalate equipment, process, safety, quality, or staffing concerns in a timely manner.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, compliance, technical excellence, and continuous improvement

- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, workholding, inspection methods, and manufacturing documentation.
- Ability to work under general direction while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to support production needs while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Desired Characteristics:
