Senior Scientist, Study Manager - Atherosclerosis and Metabolism Clinical Operations

Senior Scientist leading operational planning and execution of clinical trials in atherosclerosis and metabolic disease. This role oversees feasibility assessment, team coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to advance study objectives at a global pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities

• Direct operational planning, feasibility assessment, and execution of clinical trials
• Lead team in study planning, data management, site selection, and investigator meeting preparation
• Manage timelines, identify risks, resolve issues, and prepare status reports
• Facilitate collaboration with internal teams, country/site operations, vendors, and committees
• Oversee study-specific partners and vendor relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years pharma/clinical development experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD/PharmD
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and International Council for Harmonisation regulatory standards
• Project management and planning expertise with ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Leadership capability to influence stakeholders across departments and external vendors
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Problem-solving and critical thinking in matrix environments

Compensation: $117,000.00 - $184,200.00 base
