Veterinary Technician- ICU Overnight

Sign‑On Bonus Offered for qualified Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and VTS candidates. Company BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to work in our busy Emergency department. Pay Pay: $20–$40 per hour—starting point dependent on experience and competency level. Additional Night Shift Differentials available. Role Overview Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment. Triage emergency cases and obtain vitals (temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure). Perform digital radiography with proper positioning. Understand normal vital sign ranges and interpret values. Obtain and interpret blood pressure and other vitals, alerting the Veterinarian of changes. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR. Perform medical math including CRI calculations and administer medications via appropriate routes. Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters in peripheral vessels. Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters. Mentor and train coworkers.
