Embrace a dynamic, contract role where you’ll collaborate with OTs to provide essential therapy support in a district-wide capacity. In this position, you will work closely with a dedicated therapy team, supporting 2-3 Occupational Therapists as they manage higher caseloads. Enjoy the flexibility and variety of an itinerant role that will take you to multiple campuses each week near the Kansas City area, keeping every day fresh and engaging.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Valid COTA license for the state of Kansas
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but all levels of experience are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a wider therapeutic team
• Adaptable mindset to thrive in a multi-campus setting, providing support wherever needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist OTs with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy programs
• Work hands-on with students to promote functional independence and participation in school activities
• Document student progress and communicate effectively with supervising OTs and educational staff
• Travel between assigned schools throughout the week based on caseload and campus needs
• Help foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students of varying abilities
