Role: Embedded Hardware Engineer
Location: Greensboro, NC (Onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Job Description:
- Hardware design and development
- Power supply design (AC-DC SMPS, DC-DC converters)
- Schematic capture and PCB layout for high-speed and high-power applications
- EMI/EMC standards and compliance
- Reliability standards
- Digital communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and RS485, display interfaces.
- Component engineering,
- Power budgeting and thermal analysis for high-power applications
- Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent relevant work experience (required)
- 5 -10 years of experience in product design, development, and implementation required.
- Electrical hardware design experience involving mixed signal designs, power supply designs, processor-based designs, cable designs.
- Identifying low-cost alternates to off the shelf parts such as monitors, printers, card readers, scanners, etc.
- Experience in design for manufacturability, FMEA, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis is a plus.
