Production OperatorLocation: Bryan, Texas Starting Pay: 17.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 12-hour day and night shiftsPosition OverviewSnelling Staffing is hiring a dependable Production Operator for a manufacturing company in Bryan, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with production, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience.Candidates must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts and transitioning from a daytime schedule to a nighttime schedule after the initial 90-day training period.Work ScheduleFirst 90 Days: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.After 90 Days: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.The Production Operator may be required to rotate between day and night shifts based on production needs.Job Responsibilities• Operate production and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.• Follow established production procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.• Monitor equipment and report safety, quality, or mechanical concerns.• Measure, calculate, and document production materials accurately.• Clean equipment and maintain an organized production area.• Follow all safety, chemical-handling, and waste-disposal procedures.• Assist with preventive maintenance activities as assigned.• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment when needed.• Work closely with supervisors, lead operators, and other team members.• Complete additional production duties as assigned.Job Requirements• High school diploma or equivalent.• Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.• Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts.• Ability to transition to the night shift after the first 90 days.• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 55 pounds.• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical work for extended periods.• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.• Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions.• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Must be comfortable wearing required personal protective equipment.Preferred Experience• Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience.• Experience working around chemicals or hazardous materials.• Shipping and receiving experience.• Quality assurance or color-matching experience.• Technical, manufacturing, or industrial training.Physical and Safety Requirements• Ability to lift materials weighing up to 55 pounds.• Ability to move 55-gallon drums using approved mechanical equipment.• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for up to 12 hours.• Ability to wear a full-face respirator when required.• Ability to work safely around industrial materials and chemicals.• Must wear required protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses.How To ApplySubmit an updated resume outlining your production, manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or industrial experience.
