Bilingual Spanish Field Interviewer – Part-Time, Temporary

Are you looking for a flexible, meaningful opportunity to make an impact in your community? Noor Staffing Group is hiring Field Interviewers on behalf of our client to conduct confidential surveys with individuals across Texas who receive state-supported services.

As a Field Interviewer, you will use a company-provided tablet and software to contact pre-identified participants and conduct structured surveys by video or in person, based on the participant’s preference. Your work will help ensure that individuals’ experiences and perspectives are accurately captured for social research projects.

This opportunity offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to manage your own schedule while following established project protocols and deadlines.

Key Details

• Project Duration: November 10, 2026 – April 15, 2027, or until all interviews are completed.

• Paid Training: Virtual classroom training will be held November 10th–12th, 2026, consisting of three half-day afternoon sessions.

• Post-Training Schedule: Flexible, part-time schedule of approximately 25–30 hours per week. A minimum of 20 hours per week is required.

• Expected Commitment: Minimum of 5 completed surveys per week.

• Travel: Extensive local travel is required, generally within a 60-minute driving radius.

• Interview Format: Surveys may be conducted virtually by video or in person based on participant preference.

• Technology: A company-provided tablet and software will be used to conduct and document surveys.

Responsibilities

• Contact participants from a provided list to schedule and complete surveys.

• Complete an average of 1 survey per day or 5 surveys per week.

• Conduct structured surveys using company-provided technology and established project protocols.

• Accurately record participant responses while maintaining confidentiality.

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with participants.

• Demonstrate empathy and cultural sensitivity during participant interactions.

• Communicate with the research team regarding project-related questions, updates, or concerns.

• Utilize the provided translation service when needed.

• Manage your own schedule and complete assignments within established project expectations.

• Travel locally to conduct in-person interviews as needed.

• Maintain organized records and follow all project procedures and deadlines.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and speak Spanish and English Fluently 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with participants.

• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organization and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

• Ability to follow structured interview protocols and project procedures.

• Comfortable conducting interviews by video and in person.

• Field interviewers are required to have their own laptop to access materials and participant information.

• Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and digital tools.

• Reliable transportation and access to a personal vehicle for in-person interviews.

• Valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance.

• Ability to maintain participant confidentiality and follow all applicable project requirements.

• Ability to travel locally within the required service area.

• Ability to meet the minimum commitment of 20 hours per week and complete at least 5 surveys per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting interviews, surveys, or research.

• Experience in social services, community outreach, or related fields.

• Experience supporting aging, disabled, or other underserved populations.

• Experience working directly with individuals receiving social or state-supported services.

• Experience utilizing translation services.

• Bilingual skills, with Spanish strongly preferred.

• Experience working independently in a field-based or community-based environment.

Perks & Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $27.50 per hour for all work time.

• Drive Time Pay: $7.25 per hour for qualifying drive time.

• Mileage Reimbursement: $0.76 per mile for qualifying business mileage.

• Paid Training: Virtual classroom training is paid.

• Flexible Schedule: Manage your schedule while meeting project requirements and deadlines.

• Company-Provided Technology: Tablet and software provided for conducting surveys.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This role involves a combination of virtual and in-person interviews with participants throughout the assigned Texas service area.

• Extensive local travel is required for in-person interviews, generally within a 60-minute driving radius.

• Requires routine use of a company-provided tablet, mobile applications, phone, email, and other digital tools.

• May require driving to multiple participant locations during the workweek.

• Interviewers may be required to sit, stand, walk, and travel for extended periods during the workday.

• Requires the ability to communicate clearly with participants through video and face-to-face interactions.

• May require carrying and using a company-provided tablet and other interview materials.

• Contractors must have reliable transportation for required in-person interviews.
