Job Description - Patient Scheduling Representative 3 - TGH Imaging Scheduling (2600020H) Summary This position coordinates, schedules, and reschedules radiology procedures for patients and referring physician offices across all imaging locations. The role ensures accurate collection of patient and insurance information while providing clear guidance regarding appointment details and exam preparation. The position supports high-volume scheduling operations in a team-based environment. Essential Functions Coordinate, schedule, and reschedule radiology procedures Communicate appointment and imaging information to patients and physician offices Collect and record patient demographic and insurance information Provide exam preparation instructions to patients Remind patients of required documentation and items for appointments Obtain and document referral and authorization information in scheduling systems Manage call efficiency in a high-volume call environment Support team members to maintain scheduling workflow Perform other assigned duties related to scheduling operations Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Work Experience and Additional Information Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office setting Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expert with computer systems and typing Exemplary verbal and written communication skills High level of telephone etiquette and customer service skills Excellent problem‑solving ability Expert knowledge of scheduling workflows and patient information management Primary Location Tampa Work Locations TGHI Hidden River - Corp Office 8800 Grand Oak Circle, Tampa 33637 Eligible for Remote Work: On Site Job Radiology/Imaging Services Organization TGH Imaging Schedule Full-time Scheduled Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday #J-18808-Ljbffr Tampa General Hospital
