Description: The CT Tech position requires a willingness to be flexible with adjusting times due to staffing needs. The tech may be asked to work early or late, depending on need. Daily caseload includes a variety of cases such as inpatient, outpatient, neuro, full body, cancer, stroke, and lung screening. There are 4 scanners available, managing approximately 100 patients per day. The position accepts first-timers with a minimum of 1 year of experience. On-call work may be required as needed. Floating within the scope of practice and to other facilities may occur as needed. The facility operates as a short-term acute care center with a total of 672 staffed beds and serves both adult and geriatric patient age groups. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, and more. The tech will be involved in various procedures, including biopsies, CT arthrography, and emergency department cases. Candidates must adhere to radiation safety protocols and demonstrate skills in contrast media preparation and administration. A supervisor reference is required upon submission for this position. Candidates should be aware of local compliance and background policies prior to application. Travelers are eligible for a stipend for completing pre-start modules.
