Title
Registered Nurse - Phase I PACU

Schedule
Shift: 10-hour days (9:45 AM - 8:15 PM)
Ratio: 1:2

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Travel RN experience required
- ICU experience required
- Phase I-II PACU experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS (BLS), PALS
- Some ICU experience

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery assessments for patients recovering from surgery.
- Monitor and manage patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring ICU-level care.
- Administer and manage medications and interventions as prescribed, including PCA management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care during patient transitions.
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care procedures and discharge instructions.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions allowed.
- Candidate must complete required lab/testing within 48 hours after signing.
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be allowed (must be pre-approved).
