Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Overview American Traveler is hiring a floating MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient assignment, performing general and specialized MRI exams across two clinic locations. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required Current BLS (AHA) required State license required if applicable Radiation dosimetry badge required — must be provided by the candidate\'s agency prior to start Experience with general MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast MRI, and cardiac MRI Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment required SSN and Driver\'s License required for consideration 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis Responsibilities Outpatient clinic setting with work split between two locations: primary site at West Ashley and mobile MRI tech duties at a North Charleston location 1–2 times per week Performs general MRI exams as well as specialized studies including implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac MRI Primary schedule is 5x8-hour shifts (12:30 PM–9:00 PM, Mon–Fri); alternative schedules of 4x10s (10:30 AM–9:00 PM) or 3x12s (8:30 AM–9:00 PM) may be considered Saturday shifts (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) are required on a rotating basis; on Saturday weeks, candidates work 4 weekday shifts plus the Saturday shift to total 40 hours No on-call requirement Charting is done in Epic (experience preferred) Siemens MRI equipment experience required; Sectra experience preferred Candidate must float between the West Ashley and North Charleston locations as needed First-time travelers are accepted for this position Former permanent or PRN staff at any facility within the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on manager and unit needs Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak months are August and September Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start date Scrub colors are teal top and black pants Parking is provided at no cost Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
