Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Florida Respiratory Therapist license in good standing. (State-specific license required.)
• NBRC RRT or CRT certification. Must be attached to submission.
• ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association. Must be attached to submission.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Ability to perform ventilator management, airway maintenance, arterial blood gases, and assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pulmonary function testing and cardiac/pulmonary stress testing.
• Experience in an acute care or hospital setting.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 18:30–07:00.
• Position may require duties typical to a hospital environment, including assisting with intubations and arterial line insertions.
