Cardiac Ultrasound Technician (Associate Scientist/ Scientist)

Edgewise Therapeutics seeks a cardiac ultrasound technician to conduct in vivo rodent studies characterizing cardiovascular disease models and drug responses. The role combines hands-on echocardiography (~70%) with data analysis, protocol development, and cross-functional collaboration to support small-molecule drug discovery programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform in vivo rodent studies to develop and characterize cardiovascular disease models
• Conduct echocardiographic assessments and evaluate pharmacologic responses to drug candidates
• Collect, analyze, and critically interpret experimental data with timely reporting
• Lead studies through completion and present results to multidisciplinary project teams
• Identify opportunities for protocol optimization and contribute to new experimental approaches

Requirements

• Experience performing rodent echocardiography and interpreting echocardiographic parameters
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD in pharmacology, physiology, biology, or related discipline preferred
• 4+ years academic or industry experience in cardiovascular pharmacology or physiology research
• Hands-on experience handling rodent models and performing basic procedures
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and pharmacology
• Ability to design, execute, and analyze experimental studies independently
