Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a school paraprofessional or classroom assistant preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to foster supportive relationships with students and staff
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to contribute to student learning
• Ability to work cohesively with lead teachers and follow instructions effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional educational coursework or certification is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and behavior management
• Work directly with students, providing instructional support and encouragement
• Support the implementation of lesson plans and individualized education strategies
• Help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for all students
• Provide one-on-one or small group attention as needed to ensure understanding and participation
• Collaborate closely with educators to monitor student progress and adjust support as needed
