Schedule/ Shifts:

7:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Pediatric Call Coverage

Start and End Dates:

October 2nd, 3rd, 4th

October 19th

October 22nd - 25th

Providers must arrive the day before their first shift for orientation and electronic health record (EHR) training.

Pediatric Call Coverage

OB/NICU Unit Level: Nursery coverage only as needed

Average Admissions per Day: 1 inpatient admission

Average Inpatient Census: 1 newborn per day

Requirements:

Board Certification: Yes - Must be a Board Certified Pediatrician

Required Certifications: BLS, PALS

DEA Certification: Required

Will Licensing be Provided: Yes

Will IMLC be Accepted: Yes

Additional Details:

• No ICU or Critical Care responsibilities
• No Emergency Room backup coverage needed
• No code response required unless in the nursery
• Attendance at C-sections is required when requested by the OB provider

Procedures/Services:

• Nursery coverage as necessary
• Pediatric inpatient care
• Attendance at C-sections when requested by the OB provider
