Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Surgical Services department in a 495-bed hospital
• Specialty experience needed in Robotics, General, Trauma, Ortho, Vascular, Gyn, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic surgeries
• 4x10 day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• On-call requirement of 6-8 calls per month, which may include weekends
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA only
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• 2+ years of recent OR experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform circulating and scrub duties across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Blue scrub color required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• No local candidates accepted
