Quality Systems Data Analyst Winter/Spring Co-Op

Skyworks Solutions is offering a Winter/Spring Co-Op for a Quality Systems Data Analyst to support the Quality Systems department through a data-focused, cross-functional engagement. Based onsite in Woburn, MA, this internship centers on analytics and reporting, data integration, and continuous improvement activities from January through June 2027 (approximately six months).

In this role, you will help teams across Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Management by building and maintaining dashboards and reports, supporting data validation, and assisting with planning and coordination for quality and business improvement projects. You will also gain exposure to Quality Management Systems (QMS) concepts and business process optimization in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Analyze data from business and quality systems to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and project tracking tools.
• Support data collection, validation, and reporting to help ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist with testing, validation, and documentation for system updates and process improvements.
• Provide administration and reporting support in platforms such as SharePoint , Power BI , Salesforce , Microsoft Teams , and other business systems.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordination of Quality Systems and business improvement projects.
• Help prepare for project meetings by creating agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
• Monitor project tasks, timelines, and deliverables while sharing status updates with stakeholders.
• Create, organize, and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
• Prepare presentations, summaries, and communications for project teams and management.
• Support continuous improvement by evaluating business processes and recommending efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Quality Management System (QMS) activities and operational objectives.

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field

Requirements & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems , Business Administration , Quality Management , Industrial Engineering , Project Management , Data Analytics , or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite , particularly Excel , Word , and PowerPoint .

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data analysis, reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI .
• Experience working with large datasets and data organization concepts.
• Exposure to SharePoint , Salesforce , Microsoft Teams , or similar business applications.
• Basic knowledge of SQL , Python , or other data analysis tools is a plus.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and project lifecycle concepts.
• Understanding of QMS and quality standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes.

Location: Woburn, MA (onsite). Job type: Internship (co-op). Pay: USD 22 to 47 per hour.
