High Quality Health system seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to work in Oakland, Maryland! (10mins from Deep Creek Lake and 1hr South of Pittsburgh !)

- This group is a West Virginia based health system with a small critical access hospital in the area.
- Group has 12 total locations and over 500 providers
- Been located in the area since 1928.
- 55 Bed Hospital with great work life balance
- Location: Oakland, Maryland (10mins from Deep Creek Lake)
- Orthopedic Surgeon - General Orthopedics, Total Joints, Sports Medicine
- Serve as a role model of professionalism to all members of the interdisciplinary health care team. Collaborates with all other practitioners and clinical support staff to form a high performing team.
- Documents all patient care activities and services provided in the electronic health record. Documentation must be clear, concise, accurate, updated, and in sufficient detail.
- 10 Days of Call Per Month - Skiing injuries most common type of call coverage.
- 3 Other Ortho's on staff already.

Oakland is situated in the Allegheny Mountains and is surrounded by forests, rivers, and mountains. Today, Oakland is still a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The town is surrounded by state parks and forests, which offer opportunities for hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and skiing. Oakland is also home to a number of festivals and events throughout the year, including the Autumn Glory Festival, which celebrates the region's beautiful fall foliage. Deep Creek Lake, the state's largest freshwater lake, is just a short drive from Oakland. The lake offers opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, and other water activities. Oakland is a welcoming town with a friendly community.
