Hudson Health (Medical + Mind) , was established in 2010 as a modern, fully-integrated medical practice that offers a diverse ecosystem of cutting-edge treatments across pain management, functional medicine, wellness, interventional mental health, and regenerative medicine. Unique in its east- meets-west approach to healing, Hudson Health creates an experiential and holistic healing journey for each patient in its Tribeca and West Village locations. Our team of dedicated board-certified doctors and wellness providers bring expertise in 10+ diverse specialties. Our practitioners work collaboratively to tailor comprehensive treatment plans based on The Hudson Method, a care algorithm that has been perfected over the course of 12+ years treating 50K patients.
Hudson Medical: is the primary division of Hudson Health . Established in 2010 as an interventional Pain Management practice, Hudson Medical’s clinical expertise spans Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Neurology, Sports Medicine and Regenerative Medicine. Through the implementation of a proprietary treatment algorithm, Hudson Medical’s practitioners work in tandem to deliver personalized treatment plans that relieve acute and chronic pain, while also optimizing the body’s overall mobility. Hudson Medical’s physicians constantly evolve their practices to integrate the latest clinical research and cutting-edge innovations.
Most recently, the team expanded their Regenerative Medicine treatments to include minimally-invasive cellular and tissue engineering therapies designed to help patients recover from injuries faster and without the associated risks of surgery.
Patient Services Representative Position
Hudson Medical is actively seeking a passionate and tenacious Patient Services Representative. S/He will be responsible for ensuring a friendly and compassionate organization. In this role, you will work as the initial point of contact of our medical office and provide assistance to our patients and other visitors. You will be responsible for corresponding with patients, maintaining the organization of our office, and ensuring that our environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of a high volume multi-specialty practice
- Meet and greet patients, verify insurance eligibility and demographics
- Process patient arrivals quickly and efficiently
- Collect patients copayments, deductible and patient’s balances
- Assist with scheduling and confirming appointments
- Answers incoming calls
Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
- Competence in EMR Athena Health, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with tact and professionalism
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrate logical reasoning and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented with highly organized work skills
- Effective listening skills with excellent customer satisfaction skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and treatment processes
- Secondary language is a plus (Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish)
Education and Certification
- Graduate with a BA/BS degree
- 2 – 5 years of experience in a medical practice or hospitality
