Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry

Location: Seneca, SC

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiac Telemetry assignment. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring, observation services, and acute medical care. The ideal candidate will possess strong telemetry, cardiac, and acute care nursing experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License Required

• Current BLS Certification

• Current ACLS Certification

• Current NIHSS Certification

• Minimum 1 Year of Recent Cardiac Telemetry Experience

• Minimum 1 Year of EPIC Experience Required

• First-Time Travelers Considered Based on Experience

• Experience with Adult Acute Care Patients

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

• Monitor telemetry patients and recognize cardiac rhythm changes.

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely.

• Provide care for patients with cardiac, respiratory, neurological, gastrointestinal, and medical conditions.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient-specific care plans.

• Coordinate diagnostic testing and specialty consultations.

• Assist with patient assessments, monitoring, and acute nursing interventions.

• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.

• Float to similar units and nearby affiliated facilities as needed.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

• Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
