Responsibilities
- Perform professional nursing functions in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care.
- Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in the perioperative care of patients undergoing surgical procedures as an RN First Assistant.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care within the operating room to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and postoperative staff; participate in care planning and accurate documentation.
- Adhere to the facility’s policies and guidelines, maintaining leadership and professionalism in the RNFA role; report to the Director of Perioperative Services.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure; state-specific licensing requirements to be verified.
- Perioperative nursing experience; RNFA responsibilities prioritized in this assignment.
- Ability to work rotating 10-hour shifts (4x10) and adapt to a fast-paced surgical setting.
- Travel nursing experience or willingness to work in a travel assignment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical leadership skills in perioperative care.
