Overview
Registered Nurse – First Assist in Templeton, California. This travel assignment starts on 11/16/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $3,050 to $3,182. There are no guaranteed weekly hours. The role supports perioperative care under the direction of the primary operating surgeon, with RNFA responsibilities and a professional leadership role in the care team.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in the perioperative environment, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in the perioperative care of patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Perform RN First Assist (RNFA) activities in line with facility policies and the surgeon’s guidance, demonstrating leadership and professionalism.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care while promoting effective teamwork and communication among the health care staff.
- Ensure adherence to established standards of nursing practice and perioperative protocols; maintain patient safety and quality of care throughout the surgical experience.
- Document accurately, monitor patient status, and respond to intraoperative changes and emergencies as part of the surgical team.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Perioperative nursing experience; RN First Assistant (RNFA) experience or eligibility preferred
- Nursing degree (ADN or BSN) required
- Ability to work rotating, 10-hour shifts in a perioperative setting
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Availability to begin the assignment on or around 11/16/2026 for approximately 13 weeks
