Description Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking to add a Veterinary Criticalist to the Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center team. $75,000 Sign-On Bonus Available! Join Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center in our beautiful new 15,000-square-foot facility in the Austin/Round Rock area. You'll be part of a collaborative specialty and emergency team with access to Critical Care/Emergency, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Dentistry, Cardiology support, and seven-day imaging support. Our services are available 24/7 to companion animals in Austin and nearby areas. We have an outside contractor for cardiology and a sonographer available for imaging Monday - Sunday. Collaboration and Critical Care support from our nearby Pet Specialists of Austin team and Criticalist. Experience & Skills Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date. Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible. Board Certified Veterinary Criticalist or Residency Trained Veterinarian.
