About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its hospice operation in the Akron area. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing comprehensive leadership across all aspects of the business, including operations, clinical services, regulatory compliance, staffing, financial performance, quality, culture, and market development. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality interdisciplinary hospice care while meeting the organization's operational, financial, compliance, and organizational objectives. The Executive Director will be accountable for the overall performance of the agency and must be adept at building relationships, representing the agency in the community, and leading a team to foster a culture centered on quality patient care. Applicants for the Executive Director position must hold an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license and have a background in healthcare management, with a preference for those with hospice leadership experience. The role requires a thorough understanding of Medicare hospice certification and regulatory requirements, as well as demonstrated experience in supervising clinical, professional, and administrative personnel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in healthcare operations, financial management, staffing, quality, and compliance, and possess strong communication, leadership, judgment, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills. The company is particularly interested in a leader who can create stability, establish expectations, and develop the management team to build an accountable culture focused on quality patient care.
