We are seeking an exceptional Senior Change Management Consultant to support a complex, transformation initiative within a large insurance organization. This is not a role for someone who needs a clearly defined playbook - it requires a seasoned practitioner who can bring clarity to ambiguity, earn trust with experienced leaders, and drive meaningful organizational change in a highly dynamic environment. This role requires someone who has sat on the client side - who understands what it feels like to be the leader navigating change, not just the consultant designing it.
Experience:
- 7+ years of change management and organizational transformation experience
- Proven track record working with Fortune 1000 or large enterprise organizations
- Insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with sophisticated, experienced client leadership teams
- Demonstrated ability to define scope and structure engagements in ambiguous environments
- History of successfully navigating politically complex, high-stakes environments
- Experience as both an internal leader and external consultant preferred
Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with senior leadership to assess, shape, and drive the transformation agenda
- Translate ambiguous organizational challenges into clear, actionable change strategies
- Serve as a trusted advisor and constructive challenger to C-suite and VP-level leaders
- Identify and manage organizational risks before they become barriers
- Build rapid credibility and trust with seasoned, sophisticated client leaders
- Influence without authority across multiple stakeholder groups
- Design and implement human-centered change strategies tailored to the insurance culture
- Develop compelling change narratives that resonate at all levels of the organization
- Coach internal team members and leaders on their role in driving change
- Lead engagement initiatives including town halls, leadership communications, and employee activation
Potential deliverables: Three (3) month engagement deliverables will be defined as part of Phase 1 of the engagement.
- Deliverables will be mutually agreed upon by WNS and Client, working in good faith, and included in the Statement of Work for project engagement as Phase 2 of the engagement.
- Project Review: Review all relevant project files and materials
- Case for Change: Confirm the case for change is current, update if needed
- Success: Clarify timeline, stakeholders, and vision for success from client perspective
- Stakeholder Analysis: Conduct key stakeholder interviews to understand all impacted stakeholders and current questions, understanding and concerns.
- Change Champions: Identify potential change champions and change resistors
- Quick Wins: Identify quick communication wins for immediate implementation
- Communication Strategy: Conduct interviews with key stakeholders regarding communication channels and existing platforms and explore innovative and relationship focused solutions to communication challenges. Develop outline for comprehensive communication strategy
- Internal Resources: Conduct interviews with key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive set of toolkits for impacted stakeholder groups. Develop outline for content of toolkits (executive leadership, leadership, change champion and employees) to provide relevant and timely information and resources.
Compensation Disclosure
The base salary for this position is $100.00 per hour on a 1099 contract basis. This represents the base pay range that we reasonably expect to offer for this position.
Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, education, skillset, and location.
In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses, incentive pay, or commissions, which are not included in the listed base salary range.
