Responsibilities Overview:

As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you'll provide hands-on care to residents while safely administering medications and assisting with daily care needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely prepare and administer medications according to physician orders, facility standards, and applicable regulations.

• Accurately document medication administration and promptly report changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse.

• Perform blood glucose testing and other assigned clinical tasks.

• Reorder medications as needed and help ensure resident receive medications as scheduled.

• Conduct periodic narcotic counts and maintain medication security.

• Maintain accurate narcotic, psychotropic, and medication records.

What We Offer:

Job Types:

Full-time and Part-time positions available.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Rotating weekends

• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)

Competitive Pay:

$19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Flexible Hours:

• Part-Time: 12 – 32 hours per week

• Full-Time: 32 – 40 hours per week

Position Requirements: 

• A valid unencumbered Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Certification is required. 

  Certification Requirement: This position requires a current Certified Medication Technician (CMT). L1MA certification is not accepted for this role.

• At least 1 year of Certified Medication Technician (CMT) experience in an Assisted Living setting is preferred.

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful connections with staff, residents, and families.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

• Reliable transportation is required.
