The YPP initiative is an accelerated program designed to target a population of junior professionals, fresh out of college or less than 18 months of working experience, that have shown high potential through schooling and projects with current and previous work/projects. This is a 2‑year program where you will be hired into this C.I. role within G.D. in year one and will conduct a job rotation during year two. During the 2‑year program, there is a phase where you will take a trip to Coesia’s global headquarters in Bologna, Italy to collaborate, learn, and debrief with other YPP participants. About the Role The Workshop Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to ensure on‑time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and cost‑effective workflow. This role partners closely with Workshop, Procurement, Inventory Control, Engineering, and Sales to balance capacity, material availability, and customer demand. Develop, update, and maintain production schedules based on material availability, demand, and capacity constraints. Release, track, and manage production order documentation within SAP/ERP systems. Coordinate material requirements with Procurement, Inventory Control, and Engineering. Maintain alignment across departments on schedule priorities and changes. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement corrective actions or escalations. Maintain accurate planning data including lead times, BOMs, routings, and capacity parameters. Track production KPIs such as schedule adherence, WIP levels, cycle time, and throughput. Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency. What You Need to Be Successful Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field Understanding of production processes, inventory control, capacity planning, and interpretation of BOMs and lead‑time data. Analytical and problem‑solving skills Communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing production needs, and work effectively under deadlines.
