You'll be part of a mission-driven health system committed to patient safety, quality outcomes, teamwork, and professional growth.Nestled in the scenic Appalachian Mountains, Boone offers the perfect blend of community, culture, and outdoor adventure.Compensation: Starting at $16.45 per hour, based on education and experience.Benefits: Comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement with match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, wellness incentives, and employee discounts.What You'll Do as a Clinic ReceptionistGreet patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.Answer incoming calls, provide accurate information, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.Schedule appointments, verify patient insurance information, and maintain an organized scheduling system.Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations and other privacy standards.Manage patient flow by coordinating with clinic staff and facilitating smooth transitions for care.Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming front desk area.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.Experience: 1 year of prior experience in a medical or clinic setting preferred.Licensure/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association preferred, but not required.Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in medical terminology and administrative skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of privacy regulations, such as HIPAA. Strong computer proficiency and organizational abilities.
