Exciting Opportunity for an ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description:


- Join our collaborative and dedicated nursing team in a dynamic 38-bed multi-specialty Intensive Care Unit (ICU)!
- Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:


- Provide comprehensive nursing care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families.
- Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues to ensure the best outcomes.
- Update and manage patient records with accuracy and efficiency.
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information to maintain high-quality standards.
- Follow established guidelines and policies of our nursing department.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects in collaboration with the leadership team.

Qualifications:


- Minimum of 2 years of RN ICU experience in multispecialty ICU (CCU/SICU/MICU/NEURO/CT).
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred).
- Telemetry experience is required; must possess the ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities and basic computer proficiency.
- Required Certifications: MA License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification.
