Your future as a Residential Electrician starts here at Palmetto Residential Electric.Your Mission:Completes new construction residential installs and warranty workPlans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric range or motor, and installs grounding leads.Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer, and oscilloscope.Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.Repairs faulty equipment or systems.Other duties may be assigned.What We Offer:Medical (BCBS), Dental (Guardian) and Vision (Equitable)Opportunities for AdvancementTake home company truck (after 30 days)Paid Basic Life Insurance and Short Term Disability401(K) plan with 3% company matchWeekly pay, vacation, paid time off, referral programOur Requirements:2-3 years of experience with residential work.Ability to work as a team member.Organization and time management skills.Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated.Occasionally travel to work in other sites within Palmetto Residential Electric.Possibly required to work overtime.Must be physically able to perform maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which include but are not limited to the ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift objects weighing up to 75 poundsMust have the ability to pass a urine drug test and background check.Must be able to provide a clean driving record.Bilingual a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
