Exciting Opportunity for Family Medicine OB Faculty in a Charming Rural Setting in South Carolina!
Our organization is on the lookout for a Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physician specializing in Obstetrics to join us at one of our rural campus sites, located at McLeod Health Clarendon. Established in 1951, this facility, situated in Manning, South Carolina, serves as the county seat of Clarendon County. With 81 acute-care beds, the hospital is equipped with modern amenities that cater to a variety of inpatient and outpatient needs, including operating rooms, a comprehensive emergency department, same-day surgery, and comfortable patient accommodations. Position Details and Requirements:
A Faculty Physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive family medicine and women's health services, including prenatal care.
Participation in OB call, deliveries, and operative OB responsibilities is essential for this rural facility.
Act as a liaison among the obstetrics, pediatrics, and family medicine departments.
Manage a personal clinic panel while mentoring residents in both the family medicine and women's/OB clinics.
Oversee residents in the hospital setting, specifically in labor and delivery, newborn nursery, and postpartum care.
