Regional Sales Manager - Latin America/Caribbean

ProMach’s Bartelt Packaging and Matrix Packaging Machinery have combined forces as a sales team and are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to hit the ground running in an important territory with significant growth potential. The RSM contributes to our success by developing, maintaining, and growing customer relationships to achieve targeted sales goals. They are motivated self‑starters with a strong desire to achieve personal and professional growth. The position will require extensive travel across Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, with less frequent trips elsewhere. The position reports to the Vice President of Sales and must reside within an hour of a major international airport, with a preference in Florida, Georgia, or Texas. What’s in it for you? Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts at all functional levels of the organization, including engineering, operations, purchasing, and management. Develop sales strategies, opportunities, and value‑based solutions through application evaluations with end‑user customers. Consistently utilize all available sales and marketing tools for presentations, sales calls, cold calling, and prospecting. Create an efficient territory schedule to ensure regular client visits and effective prospecting. Act as a liaison between the customer and engineering to develop innovative project solutions with strong value propositions. Ensure accurate and timely collection of all project details necessary for applications engineering evaluation and quote projects. Partner with project management to guarantee seamless order transitions between sales and operations. Conduct yourself with the highest level of ethics and integrity. Consistently achieve or exceed sales forecasts and quotas. Document all opportunities, companies, contacts, and customer interactions in our Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (preferred). Bilingual in Spanish required; Portuguese is a plus. Proven track record of successful sales experience in capital equipment within the packaging industry. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex machinery specifications and features. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Results‑driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding sales targets. Competent user of CRM systems. Experience with development of reps/agent networks and/or distributors. Ability to travel as needed to meet customers and attend industry events (60‑70%); must reside within an hour of a major international airport, with a preference in Florida, Georgia, or Texas.
