Summary You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & CYBER SECURITY OFFICE, CODE 109 of PSNS and IMF. The closing date has been extended to: 08/03/2026 Responsibilities You will serve as a Senior Information Technology Specialist (Customer Support) and a technical expert in a mobile device and telecommunications-related equipment team. You will manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of mobile devices within the agency ensuring compliance with security protocols and policies. You will manage and administer software updates and patch management for mobile devices. You will perform research, evaluations, and provide feedback on problematic trends and patterns in customer support requirements. You will open, monitor status, and close trouble tickets. Adds pertinent information into the trouble ticket database to include all steps leading to resolution. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating, analyzing, developing, managing, or improving communications systems, procedures, and requirements that demonstrate knowledge of current developments and trends in communications concepts and technology. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if relatedorA combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Additional Information This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
