About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Development Transactions (Temporary) to take on a senior leadership role in strategic partnering activities, with a focus on the oncology portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full deal lifecycle, from structuring to executing complex business development transactions. This includes leading negotiations for a variety of agreements and ensuring that the transaction structures align with the company's objectives. The role demands a deep understanding of biopharmaceutical transaction structures, exceptional deal judgment, and the ability to drive negotiations with senior executives and external counsel. Applicants for this role at the company should have an advanced degree in a relevant field and at least 12 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in negotiating and executing biopharmaceutical licensing and collaboration transactions, with a strong background in drug development, intellectual property, and commercialization. Experience in oncology and immuno-oncology programs, as well as a familiarity with global partnering structures, is preferred. The role requires excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to influence senior executives and lead cross-functional teams.
