Primary Responsibilities Create, process, and track purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures Communicate with vendors regarding order details, pricing, lead times, availability, and shipping logistics Coordinate with internal departments and end users to confirm purchasing requirements and ensure timely fulfillment Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on delayed shipments or backorders Resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, pricing, or deliveries and escalate issues when necessary Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation Assist in evaluating vendor performance, pricing, and service quality Ensure purchased materials meet company standards and project requirements Support inventory and supply chain processes as needed Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or additional coursework in business, supply chain, or related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain coordination, or a related role Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and follow-up abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Experience with purchasing, inventory management, or ERP systems preferred Strong problem-solving and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working in construction, service, manufacturing, or distribution environments Familiarity with vendor management and supply chain best practices Ability to analyze purchasing data and identify cost-saving opportunities Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
