Production Operator

Manufacturing Production AssociateResponsible for multiple aspects of the processes of manufacturing, packaging, and distribution of powdered dairy products in a production facility following all sanitation, safety, and good manufacturing practices.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble, operate, and disassemble equipment and machineryMaintain a clean and sanitary work environment while adhering to various cleaning process specifications, including the safe utilization of chemicalsOperate a forklift, chain hoist and industrial scaleWalk, bend, and stand for the duration of a scheduled shift, up to 12 hoursRead, comprehend and follow manufacturing instructions, batch records and production schedulesCompletion of regulatory compliance documentation as neededSample finished product for laboratory testingFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsExhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgementAdhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformityAttend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
