Pay: $74,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Location: This is a primarily remote position open to candidates throughout Colorado. Attorneys in the Denver and Boulder metro areas are preferred, with the expectation of traveling to the Boulder office only a handful of times each year.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Colorado and have at least 2 years of litigation experience. Attorneys with real estate litigation experience are strongly preferred. This opportunity is best suited for associates with under 7 years of experience.

Job Description

• Represent clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy.
• Manage discovery, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Attend court hearings, conferences, and trials as needed.
• Communicate directly with clients while providing practical legal advice.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
• Assist with transactional matters related to business and real estate when appropriate.
• Maintain a minimum of 100 billable hours per month.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Bar license.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Real estate litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing, research, and courtroom skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating with a team.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Interest in handling both litigation and occasional transactional work is a plus.
