Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:30 AM - 02:00 PMTue05:30 AM - 02:00 PMFri05:30 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout assigned locations and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe public areas, and support crowd management, traffic flow, and/or ordinance-related concerns as directed by site procedures and local guidelines. Communicate with supervisors, client representatives, and/or public emergency personnel regarding incidents, suspicious activity, hazards, and other security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: Able to ride a bike. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
