Work Here!Parks Operator II* Mows grass, cuts and sprays weeds on county property.* Repairs and replaces park signs and park equipment.* Performs minor repairs to park vehicles.* Operates heavy equipment as needed.* Drives bus to and from special events to transport participants.* Repairs and replaces park fencing and performs concrete work.* Held financially responsible for equipment used and uniforms issued.* Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:* High School Diploma/GED* 2 years job related experience.* Ability to understand and carry out instructions; general working knowledge of and ability to operate required equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with others. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.**SALARY RANGE: $16.02 Min-$24.03-Max/ per hour****CLOSING DATE:** Upon filling position**All full-time and part-time employees are members of the Texas County District Retirement System (TCDRS).
